World Power Wheel Standing Championships
Get ready for the wildest show on wheels!
The World Power Wheel Standing Championships return to Byron Dragway on Sunday, October 4, 2026, bringing some of the most outrageous wheelstanding race cars in the country to Byron, Illinois.
Drivers will put themselves, their cars, and gravity to the test as they launch their cars down the drag strip with the front wheels high in the air. From sky-high launches to long-distance wheelstands, this is one of the most unique spectacles in drag racing — and a Byron Dragway tradition you need to see in person.
Kids 12 and under are FREE! Parking is FREE!
