MELTDOWN 10 EVENT GUIDE

Arrival & Gates
* Gate #1 is race car entries ONLY
* Gate #2 is for spectators, additional crew vehicles, swap meet, car show, camping area
* Gate Hours:
* Wednesday: Noon – 8 PM for racers, campers, swap meet
* Thursday: 10AM – 10 PM for spectators, campers, racers
*Friday, Saturday: 8AM – 10 PM for spectators, campers, racers
* Sunday: 8 AM – 6 PM
* Tech Inspection: Get teched early! Open during 3pm-8pm on Wednesday/Thursday and Friday morning 8am-12pm only! Enter staging lanes 1 & 2
* Sunday Exit: All racers must exit through Gate 2 on Sunday.

Racing
* Friday and Saturday Racing Hours: Engines hot 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
* Sunday Special for Meltdown 10 racers: Harleys & Hot Rods event— no extra cost to race!
**Car Show (Gopher State Timing Assoc) Friday & Saturday**
* Open to all 1972 and older vehicles. No additional fee to participate. Enter at Gate# 2

* Friday swap entry closes at 9am
* Saturday no new swap meet vendors allowed
* Criteria: items for sale must be Meltdown Drags appropriate

* Availability: reservations required, \$75 paid weekend pass in advance.
Camping / Vehicles in the pits
* Camping area
* Enter at Gate #2
* Primitive Camping: \$25 per night/site (No power or water hookups) first come, first served- No reservations
* Golf Carts: \$20 weekend pass for non-racers (includes decal). Racers will get 1 no charge pass with their tech card.
* Pit vehicles and Golf Cart operators: Operators must be 16+ years old with a valid drivers license.
* Maximum of one support or tow vehicle per race car entry allowed in the pits. Be respectful as pit space will be tight.
* Prohibited: No oversized UTVs, dirt bikes, or loud exhausts. Pit-appropriate vehicles only.
Admission Fees
* Racer entry fee: $100 per car, includes one driver (must be approved/pre-registered)
* Spectator / crew fee:
* Weekend pass $75 (Best Value!)
* Thursday only: $15
* Friday or Saturday only: $30
* Sunday only: $25
