Chris Pearce, for the second time in his career, was crowned the 27th Annual World Power Wheel Standing Champion. Pearce, in what is said to be his final Wheel Stand appearance, piloted “The Chinto” to a 410’ long wheel stand! Pearce also received awards for the highest overall wheel stand and the best wheel stand by a Ford.

With a 264’ long wheel stand to open the first session, Jeff Wild scored the runner-up position. In his tenth year competing, this was Wild’s second runner-up finish (2019 & 2021).Wild’s convertible Buick tips the scale at 4,000 lbs and is impressively powered by a Buick engine with no power adders. It’s all motor!

Wild proudly celebrated the successful performance with his family.

Jason Schubert, a three-time World Power Wheel Standing Champion, performed a 235-foot long wheel stand in his ’78 Cutlass Supreme, and was awarded a third place finish.
